I used the long projection tool, which automatically set the number of lots when I selected the “Create limit order” menu item. The number of lots was thus set at 6.8. That was just a little too high for me, so I decided to change it. I clicked on the number of lots field, placed my cursor at the end and used backspace to remove the 8. Then I typed a 3 to make it 6.3. What I didn't notice was that the backspace also removed the comma. As a result, there were suddenly 63 lots instead of 6.3 — ten times my planned bet! Nevertheless, I went ahead with the purchase. Fortunately, the trade worked out well, but I unintentionally risked ten times more than intended. I understand that you probably have millions of users who like this functionality, because they want to enter an entire number of lots immediately at the touch of the backspace. However, this effect differs from almost all other software, where backspace only removes one character at a time. Can you look again at why this functionality has been arranged in this way? It's an extra detail that I need to pay attention to to prevent me from unintentionally taking more risks than planned.
